Our President Emmanuel Macron, through Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister Delegate in charge of Industry at the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, wished to appoint Dany DELMAS to the rank of Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite.
The ceremony took place in the privacy and confidentiality of the family on 10 November 2021 at the Hôtel des Ministres in Paris (Bercy), in the company of Michel Bonnet, Mayor of Cahuzac sur Vère, Paul Salvador, President of the Communauté d'Agglomération Vère Grésigne and Vice-President of the Conseil Département du Tarn, and Marie-Christine Verdier-Jouclas, Member of Parliament for the Tarn (2nd constituency).
The ceremony was punctuated by a number of important thank-yous for Dany during his speech.
A very strong thought was addressed to all the staff of the company INFACO with a strong emotion: "For more than 35 years, all the employees have adhered without difficulty to my philosophy of work which can be summed up in a few words: perseverance, rigour, will, and all this in a friendly atmosphere and with respect for each other. I'd like to thank them very much for that, because it's very important to me".
He also thanked all the customers who have always placed their trust in INFACO, and with whom INFACO has always been very close. "The first five years were very complicated. Commercially it was a success, but technically we had to fight every day to get there. I'd like to thank our customers for their patience and support, and for becoming our greatest ambassadors.
Finally, a special message for Michelle, his wife, who has been by his side since the beginning and who has also worked throughout the years to develop INFACO.
It's a real source of pride to see a man rewarded for his life's work.
A reward that is fully shared with the entire INFACO family (employees, distributors, customers, suppliers and partners).
It was an unforgettable moment for the Delmas family, a precious memory that will leave its mark on the 4 generations at his side, all of whom continue to be guided by the values passed on by Dany.
True to himself and his love of the land, Dany wanted to honour the Gaillac vineyards in Paris at the cocktail party at the end of the ceremony.
I would like to thank Marie-Christine Verdier Jouclas, Member of Parliament for the Tarn, for her efforts in ensuring that Dany Delmas received this award.
