About usmanufacturer of hand power tools for almost 40 years

In 1984, M.Daniel DELMAS invented the world’s first electric shears: the 'ELECTROCOUP. INFACO S. A. was then founded as a family business with authentic values.

In 1985, at the SITEVI international exhibition in Montpellier, Daniel Delmas won the Golden Palm Award for Best innovation for his invention. INFACO sold its first 500 ELECTROCOUP shears during the 3 days of that wine growing trade show.

Since that success, "Customer Satisfaction" has been INFACO's motto, and it has continually striven to improve the ELECTROCOUP to keep its professional wine-growing, oil-growing, fruit growing, and park and garden clients loyal.

In almost 40 years, INFACO has designed, produced and sold over 400,000 pruning shears, the F3020 being the 9th generation of tools.

Currently, INFACO is an international business selling tools in over forty-five countries.

Today, Davy DELMAS (the son of Daniel DELMAS) directs the business composed of 120 employees at Cahuzac-sur-Vère in south-western France (Tarn region). He is still inspired by a passion for entrepreneurship and the family values handed down from father to son.

I took over the family kiwi farm 3 years ago near Peyrehorade, in the Landes region of France, I produce yellow and green kiwis. I have a team of 6 pruners equipped with electric pruning shears, some of them on poles. The kiwi trees grow very high and it’s difficult to cut the branch you want using an electric pruning shear in your hand. With the pole it’s more obvious and you avoid neck pain, which is an advantage for working in comfortable conditions. Before, with the pole with the wire, it was more complicated to untangle and remove the old branches. Now, with the wireless pole, it’s more practical, we put it down and we have our two hands free to clean.

I have a operation with about 7 hectares of vineyards, and I also work for a winegrower, who has about fifty hectares of vineyards, to supplement my activity. At the moment we’re using Infaco F3010s and F3015s and we’ve just bought the first F3020. We’re satisfied with its battery, its weight, and its cutting speed compared to other brands. Over a pruning season, the difference is obvious: we save time, the work is less tiring, many things, there are many criteria that come into play. If ELECTROCOUP brings out a pruning shear like the F3020, it means that further progress has been made.

We have 70 hectares of organic and have been working with you for ten years now, for the quality, for the cutting speed and above all for the precision. Infaco makes more pronounced cuts, which is better for us. Now we have 6 F3015 pruning shears. It’s very robust, very precise equipment and its cutting speed is very impressive compared to the competition. We’ve been 100% Infaco since the very start, it’s quality, and I think that next year we’re going to renew and switch to the F3020. In a word: quality.

I’ve been a loyal Infaco customer since 1996. We started with the F3005s, the F3010s, the F3015s and now we’re looking at the F3020s. It’s for my old age, my son’s buying it for me so that I can carry on working. At Infaco, there’s the manufacturing quality and then the after-sales service, which is very important to us. We have the advantage of being on site and for us that’s very important. When I buy equipment, I like to buy a service, because even new equipment breaks down, but the service behind it never lets you down. The equipment is either replaced or they lend it to you, so you’re never left out in the cold. In three words: efficiency, solidity and service.

I manage a farm with over 55 hectares of apple and pear trees and we’ve been using Infaco pruning shears for 15 years. My pruning teams work on elevator platforms which are more comfortable and safer than ladders. The use of electric pruning shears on a platform isn’t common, but is more practical and comfortable for the pruners who don’t have the noise of the compressor, who can prune on a platform as well as on the ground, and there are no worries about freezing pipes. At Infaco, the servicing organisation is very good. When the pruning shears come back they’re as good as new.

And for pruning we’ve just bought 11 F3020 wireless pruning shears with the DSES system. The fact that it can be constantly deactivated/reactivated is just perfect already. The grip compared to the F3015 is twice as good, it’s very lightweight, the battery is also very light; frankly it’s the best. In a word: quality.

I’m a tractor operator, I drive the high clearance tractors, I do the treatments, the ploughing and I prune during the winter season, so I use the ELECTROCOUP shears, which we consider to be the best. The cut is very clean, the opening is excellent for pruning; they’re lightweight, easy to use shears. The small battery doesn’t take up any space, you can finish the day’s work with it and charge it every other day after 8 hours of work, a good charge retention. In a word: very practical, very easy to use.

En un mot: simple d’utilisation.
