About usmanufacturer of hand power tools for almost 40 years

In 1984, M.Daniel DELMAS invented the world’s first electric shears: the 'ELECTROCOUP. INFACO S. A. was then founded as a family business with authentic values.

In 1985, at the SITEVI international exhibition in Montpellier, Daniel Delmas won the Golden Palm Award for Best innovation for his invention. INFACO sold its first 500 ELECTROCOUP shears during the 3 days of that wine growing trade show.

Since that success, "Customer Satisfaction" has been INFACO's motto, and it has continually striven to improve the ELECTROCOUP to keep its professional wine-growing, oil-growing, fruit growing, and park and garden clients loyal.

In almost 40 years, INFACO has designed, produced and sold over 400,000 pruning shears, the F3020 being the 9th generation of tools.

Currently, INFACO is an international business selling tools in over forty-five countries.

Today, Davy DELMAS (the son of Daniel DELMAS) directs the business composed of 120 employees at Cahuzac-sur-Vère in south-western France (Tarn region). He is still inspired by a passion for entrepreneurship and the family values handed down from father to son.

I have a total of twenty hectares, almost all Mediterranean vines, all with irrigation and Vin de Pays d’Oc label. Since my grandfather’s days, we can say we were the first customers. At the time, I learnt using the F3000, then we went on to the F3005, the F3010, the F3015, we never stopped. The last three models we took with the DSES options, for more finger safety. But I’m very, very pleased, there’s excellent reliability, they pack a good punch, the battery service life is long, there’s nothing else to say. The team is very friendly, very attentive and there’s a big effort to renew equipment even at the technology level. Lighter batteries, lighter machines, longer autonomy for pruning during the day.  At the beginning, we had batteries that got weak at the end of the day and now we can prune for two days in a row with recharged batteries. And, as I was saying to my dad because he is of a certain age, at the battery weight level it’s undeniable. The weight is much lighter, it’s a real pleasure. That’s something you can’t take away from INFACO, the fact that they improved everything on all the systems: safety, battery, weight, the weight of the tool in the hand. It’s really great.

In one word : Reliability and trust, customer trust. All my mates use INFACO and I don’t think that’s going to change any time soon.

Wine-grower and orchard owner in Rivesaltes, owner of four INFACO F3015 pruning shears for four or five years.  My dad started and gradually, we were using another brand, gradually, when we tried out the F3015s, we saw that they were lightweight, powerful and had an autonomy that the others didn’t have. Because we can work two days without many issues, so it’s a real plus for us. And we can say that they have a long service life, which isn’t bad, because the oldest one is ready for its fifth year of pruning. We service them every year and haven’t had any specific issues, and they work as well as on the very first day, so that’s really quite remarkable. Compared with everything we’ve had up till now, it’s by far the best we’ve had.

In one word : lightweight and autonomy

I’m a wine grower in the Aude region, more especially in the Minervois, and I’ve always done my pruning with INFACO pruning shears. The first pruning shears were my granddad’s, over twenty years ago already, I can’t remember which model it was but I learnt on it, then every three, four or five years we changed it. We changed again this year for the latest models. On the new modest, there’s a safety hand, which is quite interesting. We have two employees, so it’s important, and we often have seasonal workers who sometimes learn to prune, so it adds a level of safety. Three years ago we bought that model, it’s especially the weight, it’s true that usually, each time they change they become lighter and easier to handle. The batteries too, we sometimes forget, but the first batteries were heavy, there was a weight on the back whereas now you can hardly feel the battery on your back any more, so that’s more comfortable too. So we especially change for replacements, but whenever a new model comes out, there’s an improvement. And they’re reliable, we’ve never had any problems because we have them serviced too, but we’ve never had any issues with these pruning shears. So, we’re always waiting for the new features and this year I noticed the protective gloves had changed a bit. It’s not much as changes go but it is a plus, it’s true that the attachment tended to come off but now I think it won’t any more. We’re impatient to try them out and see.

We have a sixty hectare domain of vineyards in the Macon area and we work with nine F3015 pruning shears and eight folding machines. There’s nothing to say about the pruning shears, they’re great and we’ll carry on using them  because we’re very very happy with the quality. We had the F3010 and now we have the F3015. The cutting power and the noise, because having the noise all day is tiring, so the noise really changed.  And we can work much faster using the new ones.  You don’t really notice it, but it’s huge.

In one word : Practical

So we created a GAEC in Villeveyrac with my dad, peaches, apricots, nectarines and asparagus. At the beginning I was using F3010s that my dad lent me. Compared to other pruning shears I had used, the Electrocoup was really something else, especially for the work and easy handling.  And now we’ve had the F3015 for just over a year. Again, it’s great, the battery’s light, I can work three days without recharging it, and that’s something big for pruning. It’s super lightweight, sometimes I put the battery in my jacket pocket a bit, it’s really a very good product. We’re full on Electrocoup and have just been looking at buying the small saw for the orchards, it looks great for the branches. Compared to other pruning shears, I won’t say which ones, but the ease of handling is impressive. You can go anywhere, even in trickys corners, it’s lightweight and really great.

In one word :  Easy handling is the first word that comes to mind

A farmer in Villeveyrac in the Herault region, diversified with vines, orchards and market gardening, of course we use Electrocoup for the vineyards and orchards using both F3010s and F3015s. Handling, much easier to handle perhaps, and the battery performance must be mentioned because we can prune for three days without having to recharge.  We had another supplier before, but we don’t regret having switched to a hundred percent Electrocoup and are already planning future investments, with Electrocoup of course.

In one word : Performance
