Gender equality index
The French decree covering the application and calculation of the gender equality index was published in the Journal Officiel on 9 January 2019.
Part of the French Freedom to choose a professional future Act passed in August 2019, the index applies to all companies of at least 50 employees.
Every year, those companies must calculate the index using several indicators, publish their score and, when applicable, take corrective measures to reduce pay discrepancies between men and women.
Our company calculates the index using the following indicators:
- Pay differences between men and women,
- The difference in individual pay rise percentages,
- The percentage of employees who have had a pay rise
during the year following their return from maternity leave, - The number of employees from the under-represented gender amongst the
10 highest salaries.
Our company had an index of 84 over 100 in 2020.
