Yannick has been working as a landscape gardener for 17 years, his passion intact. Based in the Pyrénées-Orientales, he divides his time between the upkeep of private and professional gardens and a more artistic activity: plant scenography for festivals. It's a multi-faceted job, where creativity has to go hand in hand with technical rigour, an eye for detail and a perfect knowledge of the environment. In his busy day-to-day work, Yannick relies on tools that meet his exacting standards. These include INFACO's F3020 professional electric pruning shears and pole.
Yannick works all year round to maintain gardens and carry out landscaping work. Pruning, planting, maintaining flower beds, mowing, enhancing shrubs and landscaping are all part of his regular work. He adapts each job to the needs of his customers, whether they are private individuals or businesses.
But beyond the traditional maintenance of gardens and green spaces, Yannick has developed a very speciality of his own: plant design for events. Working with festivals, he designs landscaped settings to showcase works of art or artistic performances.
For over 15 years, Yannick has used manual pruning shears for all his pruning work. But over time, physical fatigue set in, particularly in his arms, wrists and joints. He says: "I started to feel persistent muscle pain. I realised that if I wanted to carry on working, I needed to lighten the physical load.
